Hotel Zenubia

In the center of the world-famous spa town of Hajdúszoboszló, just 100 meters from the entrance to Europe’s largest spa complex, the 23-room Hotel Zenubia, which underwent a complete renovation in 2019, awaits you with oriental flavors and specialties.

Our hotel was named after the beautiful ancient oasis, Palmyra, warrior and clever, and last but not least, its fabulous queen, Zenubia.

The queen prospered and defended the beautiful oasis of Syria, Palmyra, against the Romans.

Until he lost a battle against an army of hundreds of thousands of Roman soldiers. All sources have different opinions about his further fate.
According to some, he committed suicide in Syria: according to legend, there was poison in his huge jeweled ring, which he drank. According to others, the Romans treated him as a prisoner of war: he was dragged through the streets of Rome, tied to a gold chain, sagged under the weight of jewels and precious stones.

In our hotel, we would like to transport our guests for a short time to the fabulous world of the East and Zenubia.
